Ronald Lester Provost, age 80, of Superior passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013, at Lakeview Hospital in Two Harbors.
He was born January 27, 1933, in Superior WI.
He graduated from Central High School in 1950 and served as an Army Sergeant in the Korean War.
He married the "love of his life", the former Janet White, at St Patrick's Church in Superior on June 18, 1955.
He was formerly employed at Central Co-op Wholesale and was a Buyer for Twin Ports Grocery and Gateway Foods.
He is survived by his wife, Janet "Jan"; children Jerry Provost, Mary (Robert) Sutherland, Julie (Arthur "Don") Smith, Jane (Mike) Rapaich, Clarice (Tom) Peterson, Barb (Paul) Susienka, and Peter (Nam) Provost; sister Janice (Jerry) Patterson; sister-in-law, Josephine White; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Anna (Schiestl) Provost, and brothers Gerald and David "Sonny".
