Margaret F. Beard, 94, of Dillsboro, Indiana, passed away Saturday December 5, 2020 in Milan, Indiana.
She was born August 19, 1926 in Aurora, IN, daughter of the late John Baker and Edna (McLaughlin) Baker. She worked as a Operator for United of Indiana, retiring after over 30 years of service. Margie was a faithful member of Aurora First Baptist Church. She attended church services and Bible Studies regularly. Margaret enjoyed making beautiful quilts, she loved Christmas and all of her Christmas sweaters. In her younger years she enjoyed making many crafts, including Raggedy Ann dolls with her sister, Deloris Scranton. Faith and family was most important to her.
Margaret is survived by her loving son, Rick (Janet) Beard of Dillsboro, IN; grandchildren, Shelby Beard, Joseph (Jessie) Peak, Jamie Peak; Patrick (Nancy) Schwartz; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Father, John Baker, Mother, Edna Baker, Sister, Delores Ann Scranton, siblings, Alberta Berry, Ralph Baker, Daughter, Sharon Gordon, Granddaughter, Ryan Michelle Livingston.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
