Frank Thomas Whalen, 74, passed away Wednesday December 9, 2020 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Tell City, IN on September18, 1946, the son of the late Keronis Frank and Perlenia "Pearl" (Mullis) Whalen.


He married Mary Jones on March 9, 1968 and was a U.S. Marine veteran.


He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Charles Thomas Whalen, Mark (Stephanie) Whalen , Teresa Barr all of Evansville, IN, Cheryl Ann (Matt) Baumgart of Haubstadt, IN; siblings, Steve Whalen of Cannelton, John Whalen of Tell City, IN, David Whalen of Tell City, Beth Nix of Ferdinand, IN, Norma Deel of Tell City, IN, Arlene Rauscher of Huntingburg, IN; 9 grandchildren.


In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Gowan and a brother Michael.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Monday December 14, 2020 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Sunday December 13, 2020 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm and Monday from 8:00am to 9:30am.
