Doris, of Beaumont, passed away at Baptist Hospital. She was born to parents Aaron Turner and Fannie Evans Turner. She had lived in the Beaumont area for more than sixty years. She was a very active member of the Woodland Baptist Church and was a member of WMU. She also volunteered a lot of time at Baptist Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2001, Clarence Julian Bear McAdams. Survivors include her sons, Gerald McAdams and wife Janice, Steve McAdams and wife Kathy; brother, Louie Turner and wife Sue; sister, Gladys Johnson; grandchildren, Kenneth McAdams and wife Melanie, Brent McAdams and wife Vanessa, Megan McAdams, Vanessa Wintner and husband Gregg, Rodney Young and wife Kristie, and six great-grandchildren.
