Billie Eugene Taylor was born October 19, 1929 in Scott, Arkansas to Acie and Flora (Wood) Taylor-Hughes. He went home to be with the Lord on December 6, 2020, at the age of 91 years 1 month and 18 days.
Billie served in the United States Army, two years active duty and five years in the reserves.
He retired from Tahlequah Mill and Elevator.
Billie is preceded in death by his parents, Acie Taylor and Flora Hughes; a sister, Floella Barnett find A Grave memorial #172217097, 2 nephews, Roger and Barney Barnett; several cousins and friends.
He is survived his wife of 67 years, Bertha Taylor of the home; his daughter, Carolyn Jean Dehart and husband Ernie of Osburn, ID; three granddaughters, Jennifer Hosford and husband Darrin of Springdale, AR, Joy Schmidt of Osburn, ID, Lagina Young and husband Jeremy of Blanchard, ID; one grandson, Timothy Thompson of Osburn, ID; four great granddaughters, Bernadette, Celie, Payton, and Kamryn; two great great granddaughters, Sawyer and Alyxandria; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Billie will be missed by all.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Tahlequah City Cemetery.
