Pamela L. Leach, 76, formerly of Oley, PA, passed away on September 7, 2019 at home, surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Ralph E. Leach. Pamela was born in Taunton and was the daughter of the late John Smith and Anna (Horton) Smith. Pamela attended local schools and was employed as a teller at the former First Machinist Bank for many years. She was a longtime member of the West Dighton Christian Church where she also served as its secretary and on the church Women’s Guild. Pamela enjoyed spending time tending to her garden and raising her family. She cared deeply for her children and also enjoyed family trips and camping on Cape Cod. Pamela was a passionate mother who looked forward to every moment she spent with her family. Surviving in addition to her husband is her son, Kevin M. Leach of N. Dighton; sister, Joanne Pierce and her husband Chapman of RI; brother, John Smith and his wife Elaine of E. Taunton and several nieces and nephews. She was the loving mother of the late Nicole Louise Leach. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 13, 2019, from 1-4pm, in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton, with a prayer service beginning at 3:30pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Glioblastoma Treatment Program of MA General Hospital, 55 Fruit St., Boston, MA 02114.
