Rachel L. Woods of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away December 7, 2020.
Born in Plum Branch, SC and moving to Greenville, SC when 6 months old, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Bessie McClary Woods. She was predeceased by siblings, Helen, J. Mack, W.R. “Bill”, Sam, and Curtis Woods.

Rachel was a graduate of Draughon’s Business College and associated with Ross Builder Supplies, Inc. from September 1945 until September 1965. From September 1965 until August 1984 she was associated with J. Mack Woods Agency. During this time she was a member of the National Office of Managers Association, the Pilot Club, and the Altrusa Club, and the Greenville Women’s Insurance Association. She was a member of First Baptist Church Greenville since 1957, and a member of the Seminar Sunday School Class.

Rachel is survived by the following nieces and nephews, Pam W. Goldman (Walter), J. Mack Woods, Jr. (Juli), Carole W. Harling (Bob), all of Greenville, SC, James R. Woods (Marilyn), Townsville, SC and Andy Woods of Barnwell, SC, Debbie Woods, of North Augusta, SC. Jane W. Tarrance, of St. Helena Island, SC; and several great-nieces and nephews.
