INDUSTRY — Robert E. Nixon, 75, of Industry, died Monday, December 7, 2020, at his residence.
Born November 23, 1945, in Gastonia N.C., he was the son of late Henry Jr. and Fannie Holland Nixon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Katrina R. Nixon; a son, Timothy E. Nixon; brothers, Ronald and Curtis and sisters, Anna Williams and Rita Nixon.
A graduate of Western Beaver High School, he was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in Vietnam. He was a retired electrician with Local 712 and was member of the Christian Lighthouse Church Aliquippa.
He leaves behind his daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Nixon and Lars, Panama City Fla.; a son, Resden Nixon, East Liverpool Ohio; a grandson, Jacob Nilsson and his brothers, William Nixon, Midland, John Nixon and Charles ‘Pete’ Nixon, both of Akron Ohio.
Friends will be received on Sunday, December 13, 2020, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in D.L. Williams Funeral Home, 848 Midland Ave., Midland, where a service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Christy Bell officiating. Interment will follow.
