Kevin S. Roberts, 64, son of Jo Anne Hastings Roberts and the late Captain William Eugene Roberts, died peacefully on November 30, 2020, at his home with his family in Berryville, Virginia.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jane; his son, Joseph Roberts and wife Sarah of Madison, Virginia; his daughter Katherine Georgas and husband Nick of Barboursville, Virginia; and his daughter Meredith Roberts of Berryville, Virginia, who helped care for her father at home. He is also survived by four brothers, Terence, Steven, Craig, Keith, and their families.

Kevin enjoyed a long career as a veterinarian and opened Hillside Veterinary Hospital in Charles Town, West Virginia, in 1992, where he and his family made many fond memories. A nature enthusiast, he loved to sit outside and watch birds, especially Osprey. You could find Kevin at the golf course most days. His favorite tunes would get him moving, especially his favorite song, "House of the Rising Sun."

As a veterinarian, Kevin comforted his clients by assuring them that when we pass, we are reunited with the pets we lost. His family is comforted knowing that he is reunited with many furry friends.

Kevin's life will be celebrated every day. A private memorial will be held in Sandbridge, Virginia, where he spent summers with his family, surfing and birding throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Adult Care Center of the Northern Shenandoah Valley in Winchester, Virginia, who provide love and support for individuals and families with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
