Carole Elaine (Carney) Anderson, 75, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 10, 2020 after a year-long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was the light and joy of her family and many friends and will be remembered for her warmth and creativity. She took delight in bringing people together for happy gatherings no matter the occasion. She loved cooking for family and friends, crafting, travel, gardening, Florida beaches, and her dog Joey. In recent years her happiest moments were spent with her adored grandchildren, Zachary and Claire.

Born in Vienna, WV she graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1963. After marriage she later lived in Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and Lykens Valley, PA before making her home in Lemoyne until last year. As a realtor with Prudential Thompson Wood in Camp Hill, PA she took great care in helping her clients, many of whom became friends, in finding their perfect home.

She was preceded in death by her parents Howard & Virginia Carney of Vienna, WV. She is survived by her sons Joel Anderson and wife Diane, Lykens Township, PA; Bruce Anderson and wife Cynthia and their children Zachary and Claire, Lancaster, PA; her sisters Sharon Carney Goodwin and husband Ron, Vienna, WV; Colleen Carney Gumm and husband Derrell, Parkersburg, WV, and her treasured nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her abundance of dear friends.

A celebration of her life will be held next spring. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital www.stjude.org
