HAUSER, Veronica (nee Pandke)
In loving memory of Veronica (nee Pandke) Hauser, 91 years, who passed away Thursday morning, May 31st, 2001 at the Crescent Park Lodge, Fort Erie. She was born in Little Current and married Orville Hauser in 1951. Veronica grew up in Sudbury and graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in 1933. She had nursed for over 25 years at the C.C. INCO Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital and the Sudbury District Health Unit from which she retired in 1974. She moved to Fort Erie in 1976 and attended St. Michael's Church. A dedicated nurse she took great pride and interest in her profession belonging to the Registered Nurses Association and her nursing Alumni. A devout Roman Catholic when living in Sudbury she attended Christ the King Church where she belonged to the parish CWL. An avid reader, Veronica will be remembered as a kind, loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Beloved wife of Oscar Boileau predeceased in 1949 and Orville Hauser of Fort Erie. Loving mother of Pauline van der Grinten (husband Gordon) of Fort Erie and Claire Falcioni (husband Jerry) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Tammy Hamilton (husband John), Gordon van der Grinten Jr. (wife Carol), Kelly Popadziuk (husband Chet), Natalie Tarnopolsky (husband Gerry) and Andrea Falcioni (husband Paul); great grandchildren Alexander, Matthew, Lindsay, Erika, Mitchell, Kyle, Tristan and Dante. Dear daughter of William and Eugenie (Côté) Pandke predeceased. Dear sister of Mae Chevrette (husband Mike) both predeceased, Ovus Pandke predeceased (wife Delvina of Killarney) Eugene Pandke (wife Lillian) both predeceased, Edwin Pandke (wife Eileen) of London and Florence Pandke predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church, 30 Beech St., Sudbury on Monday, June 4th, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Crescent Park Lodge Residents Council or the charity of choice would be appreciated. (Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.)
