Willa Mae “Coot” Stone, 79, of Nashville died Wednesday December 9, 2020 at her son’s residence.

She was born April 3, 1941 in Berrien County to the late Willie Exum and the late Eva Sims.  She was a homemaker, a Patient Care Assistant at Berrien Nursing Center and a member of Flat Creek Church.   She was the widow of Willie Carol Stone who died in 2013; she was also preceded in death by two brothers: Travis Exum and Waugh Exum; daughter-in-law: Susan Stone.

She is survived by a son: Carol (Miranda Adams) Stone of Nashville; two grandchildren: Shevellaine Stone and Shalese (David) Aycock; two great grandchildren: Reese and Carter; sister: Faye Kicklighter of Glennville.

Funeral service will be held Friday December 11, 2020 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Dasher officiating.  Interment will follow in Flat Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
