Catherine was born on July 23, 1949 in Calloway County, KY to the late Howard and Stella Farmer Jones. She worked on the production line for Briggs & Stratton. Catherine enjoyed spending her time planting flowers and doing yard work. She was known to be selfless, as she worried about everyone else rather than herself. She would give her last nickel to someone in need, and was very sympathetic towards others. She loved to laugh, have a good time, and enjoy life. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.
She leaves behind two sisters, Jerrie Freeman (Gerald) of Benton, and Peggy Lawrence of Kirksey; nieces and nephews, Timmy Freeman, Kevin Freeman, Christie Monroe, Vernonia Tipton, Beverly Page, Danita Finley, Angela Terry, and Michael Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Arrangements are being handled by Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
In lieu of flowers, Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of donation to New Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2900 Wadesboro Rd S, Benton, KY 42025.
In compliance with health and public safety directives, the funeral arrangements for Catherine Jones Conner will be private. Bro. Dale Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery.
