Linda, 66, of Houghton Lake passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital, Grayling. Linda was the daughter of Michael and Rose Kiljan.
Linda graduated from Wayne County Community College, earning her degree as a Registered Nurse. Linda practiced nursing for over thirty years. Ms. Lyons had resided in Houghton Lake since 2009, moving from New Baltimore, Michigan. She attended Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Prudenville.
Linda enjoyed listening to Southern Rock, reading, solving crossword puzzles, cooking and considered herself an avid Detroit Lions Fan. Her proudest and most memorable moments were spent with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of who she loved and cherished dearly.
Surviving Ms. Lyons are her two children; Melanie Hengy and husband Rick of Auburn Hills, Michigan and Scott Leahy of Houghton Lake, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her fiancé, Richard Hoag of Houghton Lake and her beloved dog, Harley. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and son, Mike Leahy.
Celebration of Life services honoring Linda will be held at a later date.
