Thomas O’Brien McCauley, Jr., 72, of Vidor, died Wednesday, December 2, 2020. He was born on December 19, 1947 to Clara Dorsey McCauley and Thomas O’Brien McCauley in Beaumont.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Lott McCauley, of Vidor; children, Jennifer McCauley, of Vidor, Daniel McCauley and his wife, Jessica, of Orangefield, and Jonathan McCauley, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Kimber McCauley, Connor McCauley and Lance Lindsey; and siblings, Norma Dickson and her husband, Tommy, of Houston, Linda Sitzman and her husband, John, of Covington, Louisiana, and Lisa McCauley.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Merrick McCauley; and brother, Ronnie McCauley.

A gathering of Mr. McCauley’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Texas Veterans Group, 3455 Sarah Street, Beaumont or 100 Club of Southeast Texas, 5555 San Felipe St #1750, Houston.
