Leigh Terrence Reynolds age 81 of Jasper, Missouri passed away on December 7, 2020 at Truman Health Care in Lamar. He was born July 4th, 1939 to John Arthur Reynolds and Evalena Alice Leighton. He grew in up in Montana and moved to Missouri when he was thirteen. He met his future wife at that time however his family was not impressed with her. He married Lois Doubledee on April 19th, 1962. He went to college and earned degrees in secondary education at Pittsburg State, Emporia and Phoenix Universities. He went on to teach Science and History in Junior and Senior High School. He had six children, four girls and then two boys. He lived in various places in Missouri and Kansas before moving to Arizona and teaching at the Pinon Junior High and High School. He moved back to Jasper, Missouri to help his wife Lois care for her mother until her mother's passing. He was very active in ministry in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and then in the Restoration Branches serving in Missouri, Kansas and Arizona. He was ordained a Priest in April of 1963 and ordained an Elder in 2002. He served as a Pastor for various congregations throughout his ministry. He served most recently at Maple Grove congregation serving as Pastor and then Church School director. He is survived by his wife Lois Doubledee, and children, Kathy Reynolds, Virginia Tilton, Sara Reynolds, Ester and Matthew Goodrich, Arthur and Stephanie Reynolds, and Spencer and Mary Beth Reynolds, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Leigh's wishes were to be cremated and the family will announce a memorial service in the spring of 2021. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
