Barbara J. Lloyd, 73, (nee Beal) of Lorain passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her home following a sudden illness. Mrs. Lloyd was born in Lorain on July 8, 1947. She was a graduate of Admiral King High School in the class of 1965. She was a member of Lorain Lighthouse United Methodist Church in Lorain and a member of the prayer chain. She retired from CVS Pharmacy following 22 years services as a pharmacy technician. Mrs. Lloyd was a member of the Lorain Sports Hall of Fame in softball, playing with "Old Dutch Brewets" and twice champion in doubles bowling in the City Bowling League. She loved bowling, camping, and Painting with Diamonds. Barb is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ernie W. Lloyd, devoted children: Bret, Janet, Mindy, Glenn, Kelly, Mark, beloved grandchildren: Katie (Abe), Kyle, Alyssa, Sarah, Ty, her precious great grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, sister Beverly Watson, sister in law Donna Lloyd and her "Furbaby" the dog named Bear. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Priscilla (nee Ardo) Beal, a sister Billie Sutton and mother in law Helen Lloyd.
