Graveside services for Custer City resident, Jeff Long, 63, will be held Thursday, December 10 at 1:00 P.M. at the Canute Cemetery, officiated by Jeff Johnson and under the direction of the Keisau-Lee Funeral Home. Jeffrey Ira Long was born April 8, 1957 to Ira George “Mike” Long and Evelyn Mary (Winkler) Long in Burlington, Vermont, and passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in the Cordell Christian Home in Cordell, OK.

Jeff was raised in various places across the United States wherever his military family was stationed. He graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s High School in Oklahoma City in 1975. He then attended South Oklahoma City Junior College and later Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he met Mary Donna Lee. The two were married July 12, 1980, in Custer City, OK, where they made their home. Jeff worked as a meat cutter at the Kwik Shop of Custer City, OK, later at Puckett’s Grocery of Clinton, and most recently, at Homeland Supermarkets of Clinton, OK.

Jeff was a member of the First Christian Church of Clinton, OK. He enjoyed fishing and being with his family.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, a step-father, David Snider, and a brother-in-law, Darrell Walters. He is survived by his wife, Donna, of the home, two daughters, Becky Kluckner and husband Gary of Custer City, OK, and Emily Long, also of Custer City. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Alex Kluckner, Audrey Kluckner and Addison Kluckner.
