He was the son of the late Joseph and Germaine (Brindamour) Harris.
Mr. Harris was employed for the Town of East Greenwich before retiring.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Laborers International Union #1322.
He is survived by three daughters, Nadine Nielsen, Crystal Totta, and Monica Burr; one brother, James Harris; one sister, Elizabeth Burdick; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Joseph and Henry Harris.
His visiting hours were held Sunday, December 13, 2020 in St. Benedict Church, 135 Beach Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial Monday in St. Benedict Church. Burial with military honors followed in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
