Haysi, VA - Linda Lou Hay, age 61 of Haygar Mountain Loop passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 Heritage Hall Health Care in Big Stone Gap, VA.

Born in Dickenson County she was a daughter of the late Earl and Edna Wood Ramey.
Mrs. Hay was owner and operator of Bargain Outlet & Gifts in Clintwood, VA and a member of Sandlick Primitive Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nell Smith and brothers, Earl Ramey, Jr. and Lacy Wood.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Charles Hay; daughters, Christy (Landon) Johnson and Natasha Hay (Price) Viers both of Clintwood, VA; a grandson, Jeremiah Alexander Johnson; step-grandchildren, Amber, Isaac and Joshua Viers; a brother, Mack (Carol) Ramey of Clinchco, VA; mother-in-law, Euna Hay of Birchleaf, VA; sisters-in-law, Nina Wood and Doris Mabery and a special friend, Amy Raines.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2011 at Haysi Funeral Home with Jim Oquinn, Price Viers, Roger Rose and Roger Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in the J.J. Wood Cemetery, Clinchco, VA. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremiah Alexander Johnson, Carla Fleming, Dr. Pat Vanover, Dr. David Miller and Deacons of Sandlick Primitive Baptist Church.

A visitation will start at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with a service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Jim Duty and Buford Deel officiating. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com
