It is with great sadness that we annouce the death of Cynthia K. Ford, 58, of Waynesboro, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday December 2, 2020 at her residence. Visitation will be at the home of her cousin Sandra Campbell McLellan, 1503 Preston Drive, Dillon, South Carolina. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2:00pm at the Elder Kevin Thomas Memorial Chapel ~ House of Thomas Funeral Home, 300 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Dillon, South Carolina.

She was born in Mullins, South Carolina on March 6, 1962 to Joseph Ford, Sr. and the late Elois (Kelly) Wells.

She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Staunton, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her mother; son, Jamil Ford, Sr.; brother, Leon Ford and sister, Linda Ford.

Cynthia is survived by her father; one brother, Joseph “Buddy” Ford, Jr. (Dawn); one sister, Edith Ford-Young (Lawrence); three grandchildren, Shakine Brown, Jamil Ford, Jr. and David Ford; aunts, Isadell McFadden, Clara Johnson and Emma Lee; uncle, Norman Kelly; special cousin, Lori German; a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins, relatives and friends.
