Michael graduated from Mansfield High School located in Mansfield, Texas. After moving to Eckley, Colorado he was active in the Kelandy Center in Yuma, Colorado.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Catherine F. and Theodore A. Teeter.
He is survived by his mother, Katherine J. Porter; father, Stephen Mac Porter; uncle, Teddy L. Teeter, aunt, Linda K. Teeter; aunt, Winnell F. Steinkoenig; cousins, Ryan Steinkoenig and Joe Steinkoenig; uncles, Theodore A. Teeter and Allen L. Teeter; brothers, Clinton Mack Porter and Christopher Allen Porter; grandfather, William Porter, Sr.; grandmother, Marcia Porter; uncle, William Porter, Jr. and nephew, Christopher Troy Porter along with many other relatives and friends.
