World War I Veteran. He and his family lived in Moultonborough. He was a member of Company F, 103rd Infantry Regiment, 52nd Infantry Brigade, 26th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action, Sept. 13, 1918, in the first major American offensive of the war at St. Mihiel, France. His body was returned from France and buired in this cemetery.
