Sharon Taylor, 77, passed away at 5:55 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Otterbein Cridersville Assisted Living.

Sharon was born on May 8, 1943, in Lima, Ohio, to the late John and Helen (Walters) Hogan. On May 2, 1969, she married Fred Emerson Taylor, who preceded her in death on June 8, 2007.

Sharon was a member of OEA and SouthSide Christian Center.

She is survived by her son, Alan (Sandy) Taylor of Lima; daughter, April (Curt) Betts of Lima; son, John Taylor of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren: David (Jon) Keysor, Justin Betts, Kyler Betts, Cassie Betts, Jeremy Taylor, Jessica Patton, Jennifer (Alex) Green, and C.J. Betts; two great-grandchildren: Ryan Taylor and Mason Green; and nephew, John (Scarlet) Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Janet (Don) Coffee.

The Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Molaski will officiate. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 noon prior to service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
