Samuel Collier, age 15, of Schaller, Iowa, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 due to injuries received in an automobile accident.
Funeral services for Sam will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Schaller Gymnasium, with Reverend Marvin Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Schaller Cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Schaller is in charge of the arrangements.

Samuel Lee Collier was born December 5, 1991 in Tucson, Arizona to Shannon Collier and Angela (Peterson) Claussen. He attended classes at Schaller-Crestland Community School. Sam was currently a freshman at Schaller-Crestland High School, where he enjoyed his participation in football and golf. He was a member of the Schaller-Crestland Quiz Bowl team. For relaxation, Sam liked to play video games and especially enjoyed playing X-Box 360. He will be dearly missed by his family and his many friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents: Shannon and Kirsten Collier of Tucson, Arizona and Angela and Stuart Claussen of Schaller; brothers, Zack and Nathan Collier; sister Susan Collier; step-brother Seth Claussen of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandmothers Jane Collier of Tucson and Shirley Claussen of Albuquerque; aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.
Sam was preceded in death by his grandfather, Phil Collier; and one uncle, Shawn Collier.
