Anthony Derek Clark was born April 12, 1990 to Scott W. and Linda J. (Holle) Clark at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake, Iowa. He was baptized in the Catholic faith as an infant in St. Mary's Church in Guthrie Center, Iowa and later confirmed his faith as a youth. He was currently a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Schaller. A junior at Schaller-Crestland High School, Tony had planned to continue his education at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, to study accounting.

Tony was very involved in school activities such as business competitions, and participated in several sports, including cross country, track and wrestling. He had a wide circle of friends with whom he enjoyed spending time, and especially the time he spent with his girlfriend, Ashton Waters. Some of his favorite activities included skiing, wakeboarding, hunting, fishing, "gameing" with friends Jeremy, Cody, Allen and Cory, bowling and 4-wheeling.

Family was important to Tony. He loved the "work weekends" at his grandparents' homes with all his aunts, uncles and cousins around him, as well as the Minnesota vacations with all the family. Tony was always up to go golfing with Dad and Grandma. He loved riding the horses with family at Grandpa Duane's. He was the kind of person who just liked "spreading the love" to his family and friends. His enthusiasm and happy personality will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Scott and Linda Clark of Schaller; two sisters, Amanda Sue Clark and Abigail Marie Clark, both of Schaller; paternal grandparents Daryl and Sue Terry of Park Rapids, Minnesota and Duane and Janet Clark of Guthrie Center, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Bill and Charlotte Holle of Guthrie Center; uncles and aunts: Chris and Vicki Terry of Lohrville, Iowa; Matt and Angie Clark of Glidden, Iowa; Scott and Jenny Helle of Rockwell City, Iowa; Chadd and Monica Clark of Park Rapids, Minnesota; Cassie Clark of Guthrie Center; Don and Carolyn Schwartz of Bayard, Iowa; Jim and Richelle Holle of Oskaloosa, Iowa; Jeff and Janet Stange of Manson, Iowa; Terry and Kim Betts of Coon Rapids, Iowa; Art Holle of Atlantic, Iowa; numerous cousins, extended family and a host of friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Virgil McCrea; Clarence and Florence Clark, Chester and Elizabeth Moore, William and Anna Holle, Sr,; Raymond and Bernice Fank; his cousin, Jodi Grote; and his close friend, Cody Claussen.

May God Bless the memory of Anthony Clark.
