Tina E. Claussen, age 45, of Early, Iowa died on Monday, September 17, 2007 at her home in Early.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday, September 24, 2007, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Schaller, with Reverend Duane Queen officiating. Burial will follow at the Schaller Cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Schaller is in charge of the arrangements.

Friends may call from 6-8:00 pm, Sunday, September 23, 2007 at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Schaller, where the family will be present.

Tina Eavon Rimmer was born on July 8, 1962 to Claude "Lucky" and Thelma (Bice) Rimmer in Storm Lake, Iowa. She attended grade school at Hayes School and graduated from Storm Lake High School.

In 1971, Tina was baptized at the Church of Christ in Storm Lake, Iowa.

She served her country in the U.S. Army. Additionally, Tina was a member of the Northern Star and the Early Library. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Her children brought her the most enjoyment in her life, and she took enormous pride in them. She cherished all her memories of them, especially watching her son, Cody, play football. The students and events surrounding the Schaller-Crestland school were of great importance to her, as well.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Seth Claussen of Phoenix, Arizona; two brothers: Ivan Rimmer and his wife, Pat of Granville, Iowa and Rex Rimmer and his wife, Tasa of Schaller, Iowa; three sisters: Colleen Stuckenschneider and her husband, Gary of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, Wanda Hoffman and her husband Lewis, of Tribune, Kansas and Joann Acton and her husband Walter of Chillicothe, Missouri; one aunt, Norma Delp and her husband Melvin; and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Preceding Tina in death were her parents; son, Cody; and nephew Christopher.
