Cody Claussen, age 17, of Schaller, Iowa, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 due to injuries received in an automobile accident.
Funeral services for Cody will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Schaller Gymnasium, with Reverend Marvin Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Schaller Cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Schaller is in charge of the arrangements.

Cody James Claussen was born November 17, 1989 in Storm Lake, Iowa to Stuart and Tina (Rimmer) Claussen. He was raised in the Schaller community and attended school at Schaller-Crestland Community School.
Cody was a junior at Schaller-Crestland High School, where he enjoyed participating in wrestling, football and track, as well as spending time with his many friends. Cody liked the outdoors and enjoyed hunting for deer and turkey. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents: Tina Claussen of Early, Iowa; Stuart and Angela Claussen of Schaller; a brother, Seth Claussen; a sister, Susan Collier; paternal grandmother, Shirley Claussen of Albuquerque, New Mexico; aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents: Donald Claussen, Claude "Lucky" and Thelma Rimmer; and his cousin, Christopher Rimmer.
