Daniel Ralph Peterson, 42 of Blaine, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 6th, 2020. Dan was born January 13th, 1978 to Beverly (Skow) Peterson and Mark Peterson (LuAnn) in Chisago City, MN. He graduated from Chisago Lakes High School in 1996. He then continued onto his undergraduate degree from Bethel University in 2000. He furthered his education, earning a MBA in 2009 also from Bethel. Dan was an avid fisherman, curler, master negotiator, and everyone's best friend. He was an analytical and strategic thinker that always knew the best way to navigate life. Dan was always bigger than life, if he wasn't enjoying a hockey game with a cold Summit winter ale you could have found him with a glass of bourbon and a cigar surrounded by friends and family. But what Dan loved most was his wife Joan, and boys Ralph and Elroy. He was a passionate and supportive husband and father.
Survivors include: wife Joan, sons Ralph and Elroy; mother Beverly (Skow) Peterson; father Mark Peterson (LuAnn); brother Steven (Angela) Peterson; sisters Sherri (Daniel) Sladek; Jeanne Peterson; father-in-law Joe Sheedy; sister-in-law Laura Sheedy; brother-in-law Tim (Jen) Sheedy; many adoring nephews and nieces; step siblings Dan (Laurie) Komnick; Katie (Sean) Haines; and countless friends.
