Mr. Arthur Richard Brooks was born November 12, 1939 to the late Richard and Nettie Mae Brooks in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia.
He was a member of New Life Community Baptist Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
Arthur was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Marian Brooks; a union that lasted for forty-nine years; and produced four children: Stephanie, Gail, Melissa, and Arthur.
He retired from Durand-Wayland many years ago.
Arthur was an avid fisherman and jokester throughout all of his life. His strength and courage will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
On Thursday, December 3, 2020; he departed this life. In addition to his parents and his wife, Marian; he was preceded in death by two brothers: Eddie B. Brooks and George W. Brooks; and one great grandchild, Huntyr Grier.
