He was raised in Cushing where he also graduated High School. On August 3, 1963 Clinton Wayne Fisher and Marilyn Kay Nichols were united in marriage. From this union were born three children, Carla, Tracy and Clint.
Clint had a passion for music. He enjoyed singing at different churches alongside his wife and daughter, Carla. He loved ministering to people through music and did so as a song leader for many churches but most recently at Ripley First Church of God. He had a powerhouse voice that could not be mistaken. In his younger years he had a love for power lifting and was known throughout the community as “the big guy with the big voice”. He was loved by his family and friends and will always be remembered for his unique sense of humor. To know him was to love him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Emma Fisher; sister, Virginia Christian; brothers, Leland, Leonard, Benny, Ronald, two infant brothers; two brothers-in-law, Jim Christian and David Ramsey; one sister-in-law, Helen Fisher; one daughter-in-law, Lori Fisher; one great grandson, Levi Fisher.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Fisher; three children, Carla Lacy and husband Chris, Tracy Isca and husband John, Clint Fisher and wife Valerie; grandchildren, Amanda and Rich, Stephen and Mica, MaKayla, Elijah, Luis and Ana, Kenny and Meghan, Danielle, Jackson and Alex; Sixteen great grandchildren and sister-in-laws, Susie Lloyd and husband Michael and Kim Ramsey as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home, 402 E. Broadway, Cushing, Oklahoma.
