She was a member of Immaculate Conception Cathedral; Sadie loved to ballroom dance and had won awards. She was a former owner of Cameron steel and Pipe. She will be remembered as an excellent cook.
Survivors include one daughter, Thereza DeFlice Bryce-Cotes and husband Juan of Tyler Texas, one brother, Joe Brocato of Lake Charles; three grandchildren, Thor, Jeven and Giselle Bryce-Coates; and one great-grandchild, Tristania Bryce-Cates. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Brocato, two brothers, Vincent and Pete Brocato.
Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, from Immaculate Conception Cathedral. The Rev. Whitney Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.
