She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Center Point, where she had resided since 1948. She was very involved in the church for the past fifty-nine years, which involved teaching Sunday school. During her working years she was employed at Pinecrest, Central State Hospital, and Oak Haven Nursing Home where she retired. She was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling, fishing and camping.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clebert and Mary Ella Brouillette; her husband, George Bryant; and two sisters, Ora Mayeaux and Pauline Dodge.
She is survived by three sons, Gregory Bryant, Gerald (wife Judy) Bryant, and Gleman Bryant; a daughter, Gwen (husband Lonnie) Cotton; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
