Mrs. Marilyn Kay Burns, age 70, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016. She was born in Whitehall, Michigan on January 31, 1946 to Clayton & Dorothy Bushaw and married Norman Burns on December 21, 1963. Mrs. Burns had been employed as a head cashier at Plumbs for over 16 years until retiring. Marilyn loved animals, her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting Fenton glass, jewelry, Fur Rondy state coins and taking regular trips to see her sister Gloria in Alaska. She will be greatly missed.

Husband of 53 years, Norman; sons, Dan (Tianna) Burns of Whitehall, Ron (Traci) Burns of Norton Shores, Tom Burns of Whitehall; grandchildren, Lila, Joe, Leeanna, Troy, Haylie & Laney; great grandchild, Payson; sister, Gloria Tolan AK; special friends (like sisters) Debbie Hurtibuise & Lori Helm. She was preceded in death by her parents & sister, Judith Funnel.
SERVICE
Saturday, August 20, 2016, Noon with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Ken Shady officiating. Interment in Oakhurst Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Noah Project.
