Sandra Jeanne Prince, 52, of 73A Weber St., Hudson, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at home, surrounded by her family and friends.

Ms. Prince was born July 11, 1949, in Hudson, daughter of the late Edward W. Porter Sr. and Sylvia Smith Porter. She was a resident of Hudson for 27 years, previously living in Nashua for many years.

She was primarily a homemaker, but also worked many years for Nashua Plastics and Scottie Sneaker Co. of Hudson.

Ms. Prince was a devoted grandmother and enjoyed taking walks.

She was educated in the Hudson school system, attending Alvirne High School.

Ms. Prince was predeceased by two brothers, George Porter of Dracut, Mass. and Robert Porter of Manchester.

In addition to her mother, survivors include the father of her children, Denis Prince of Litchfield; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sharon and Dana Smart of Hudson and Carrie Remillard of Nashua; six sisters and five brothers-in-law, Rose and Robert Constant of Peterborough, Linda and Normand Jalbert of Nashua, Beverly and Paul Dion of Hudson, Irene and Robert Dionne of Nashua, Sheryl and David Moreau of Nashua and Nancy Ducharme of Hudson; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Edward Jr. and Carol Porter of Hudson, John and Nancy Porter of Hudson and Walter Porter of Nashua; seven grandchildren, Aaron, Cody, Katie, Marissa, Ashley, Kyle and Julia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours are at the ST. LAURENT FUNERAL HOME, 116 Elm St., Nashua on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Funeral directors are Marie Vandersyde and Mark Themis.
