Daughter of Cora Roberta Heath and her first husband Francis McQueen/aka Ray B McQueen who married on 16 Apr 1895 in Deepwater, Henry Co MO adjacent to where Cora Roberta's family were living in Benton Co MO.

His father Francis McQueen aka Ray B McQueen (what marriage record said) died before 1900 and Cora was widowed. She moved in with her mother Pauline Wright and her mother's 4th husband George Hoesten Hatfield in Benton Co MO. Later the family moved out of MO and into California where other members of the Heath family were already living. Eunice's maternal grandfather William Jonas Heath was already living there, having also left MO. Eunice is in the 1910 census living at age 11 with her widowed mother Cora Roberta McQueen in O'Neal Fair Oaks Twp, San Joaquin CA (next door is her grandmother Pauline Jane (Wright) Hatfield and her 4th husband George Hoeston Hatfield). Her mother Cora was working as a laundress in a steam laundry as was her grandmother, Pauline.

Eunice married as Eunice Laurina McQueen 16 Oct 1915 Clarence Wilbur Brooks in Sacramento, CA. He was 21 and she was 18. They had a daughter Frances Lavere Brooks born 23 Nov 1915 San Joaquin Co. CA. Eunice and Clarence W. Brooks divorced. Their daughter Frances Brooks married 26 April 1935 in San Joaquin CA Delbert Peterson. He was 25 and she was 19. His parents were Hans.A. Peterson and Nellie Anderson. Daughter Frances (Brooks) died as Frances L. Evans on 25 Oct 1991 in California.

Eunice married as Eunice Brooks age 20, on 17 Aug 1918 in Stockton, San Joaquin Co CA, John Henry Backes age 21, born 23 June 1897 Indiana and working as a shoemaker, the son of Matthias Backes and Mary Christina Ruff. She gave her fathers name as Ralph B. McQueen. It was a first marriage for him, 2nd for her. This marriage did not last and they divorced. John H. Backes remarried Alice Irene Montgomery and had son Garth Albert Backes born 1921.

Eunice married an unknown Day by April 1, 1935. She is listed as Eunice L. Day on the Apr 26, 1935 marriage license of her daughter Frances Brooks to Delbert Peterson. At age 41, she is in the 1940 census for Modesto, Stanislaus Co CA as 'divorced' Eunice L. Day and gave last place of residence as if April 1, 1935 as Brigham, Utah. She is managing a beauty shop listed as a demonstrator.

Eunice remarried an unknown Kepner.

Eunice married as Mrs. Eunice L. Kepner on 12 Mar 1966 in San Diego, CA (age 67), William A. McCune (age 78) b.31 Oct 1887 WA . She died as Eunice Laurena McCune on 20 April 1980. William died 17 Apr 1971 in San Diego.

WILLIAM A. McCUNE. - In reviewing the careers of those men prominently concerned in the industrial and agricultural life of Imperial County, specific mention must be made of William A. McCune, whose excellent ranching property of one hundred and forty five acres adjoins the city of Seeley. He has erected permanent buildings and is raising alfalfa quite extensively, and improving all the time. Mr. McCune is also proprietor of the Seeley Garage and occupies a prominent place among the business men of the town. He was born at Goldendale, Washington, October 31, 1886, a son of James A. and Etta (Ribbs) McCune, a pioneer sheepman of the coast and now makes his home at Delesa, California. Mr. McCune received his education in the public and high schools. For four years he followed civil engineering in Oregon and Idaho. Removing to San Diego, he took a course in electrical and mechanical engineering. Coming to Seeley, he purchased a ranch and in 1917 became proprietor of the Seeley Garage. Fraternally Mr. McCune is a member of the K. of P. of El Centro. He married at National City, California, October 7, 1912, Miss Alice E. Atwater, daughter of Horace Atwater. In his political affiliations he votes for the man always, irrespective of party.
