Reginald Maurice Anderson was born on May 12, 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee to Haywood and Doris Anderson. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age at Full Gospel Tabernacle Church where he participated and was a part of the youth ministry throughout his childhood. In his later years he would occasionally congregate with More Than Conquerors Faith Ministries where is older brother Apostle Anthony T. Whitaker is the pastor.

Reginald affectionately known as “Reggie” attended Hanley Elementary, and Oakhaven Middle/High School. Reginald was well known and loved by many. Growing up he had a love for mopeds, four wheelers and dogs. He was friendly, funny, bighearted and a loyal friend to many. Reggie was the life of the party, he loved to have a good time and he loved making people laugh.

Reginald transitioned from this earthly life on Sunday, May 24, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memories his parents Haywood and Doris Anderson; a son Cameron Edwards (who preceded him in death), one sister, Evelyn Pruitt (Isaac), four brothers Floyd Whitaker (Martha), Anthony Whitaker (Jeraldine), Ronald Whitaker, and Haywood Anderson, Jr. and many extended family.
