Penny Noble Cox, 101, of Herrin, passed away at 9:35 a.m. Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Reflections Memory Care in Carterville.

Penny was born April 13, 1919 in Northport, Washington to Vernon and Grace (Meldrum) Tucker and was raised by her step-mother and father, Anita Tucker and Vernon Tucker after the death of her mother.

Surviving are, daughter and son-in-law, Donna and John of Herrin; daughter-in-law, JoAnne of Spokane, WA; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Leota of Federal Way, WA, Vernita of Auburn, WA; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Louise Tucker of Battleground, WA and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Terwilleger, parents, two brothers, Don Tucker, Sterling Tucker and one sister, Wilma Hunt.

In honoring her wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service celebrating her life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home in Herrin.
A time of visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
