AGE 88 YEARS
UNITED STATES ARMY VETERAN
Joseph T. Reynolds of Waltham, passed away at home on Sunday, December 6, 2020. Joseph was a son of the late Irish immigrants Thomas J. and Bridget (Hargadon) Reynolds. Raised in Waltham he was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School. He the honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Upon return home he earned his Bachelor's degree from Boston College and later is Masters Degree in Education. He married Corrine G. Blouin in Saint John the Evangelist Church in North Cambridge on August 24, 1957 and they lived in Cambridge before moving to Waltham in 1965. Corrine died October 28, 2018.
Mr Reynolds was a longtime educator for over 30 years in the Waltham School System, most notably as a sixth grade teacher, until his retirement.
He and Corrine and family loved their time at Ogunquit Beach in Maine and wintered in Bradenton, Florida. He faithfully followed his New England Sports teams and will be remembered for his terrific sense of humor.
Husband of the late Corinne G. (Blouin) Reynolds. Father of John B. Reynolds, Mark J. Reynolds (Mary) and Joan T. Allen; grandfather of 3 grandchildren; brother of Thomas Reynolds (late Anastasia); brother-in-law of Gloria; also survived by nieces & nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, Waltham
BURIAL: with military honors will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
