Lloyd Robert Wood, 85, of Coldwater, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020, at Ascension Borgess Hospital, after a short illness.
A private burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Lloyd was born July 7, 1935, to Roy and Virginia (Hire) Wood in Coldwater. He graduated high school and began a long working career in manufacturing, retiring in 2000. Lloyd attended the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed doing yardwork, hunting and ice fishing. He was an avid Detroit Lions and Tigers fan. Lloyd lived his life by sticking to a good set of morals, keeping life simple, while being generous and caring.
Lloyd is survived by his sons, Steve (Kristina) Wood of Coldwater and Dereck Wood of Garrett, Ind; his brother Barry (Mary) Wood of Gregory; his grandchildren Aaron (Jessica) Wood of Coldwater, Brian Wood of Coldwater, Nathan Wood of Quincy, Katie Wood of Battle Creek, Duncan Wood of White Cloud and Elysha Wood of Bowling Green, Ky.; great-grandchildren Everett, Ellie and Serenity; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
