Our Andrew Mark Barker went to be with his Lord and savior at the age of 32 on December 6, 2020. We were blessed with his birth in Baton Rouge, La. on October 4, 1988. Andrew graduated from Covington High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. Andrew had a career in sales and photos at Walgreens. He was diligent in his job and received multiple awards of recognition. He had a passion for reading and taking care of his family. He is greeted in heaven by his maternal grandfather Harry M. Barker (#191709551), his paternal grandmother, JoAnn Elkins and his father Terry Elkins, and grandfather Victor Bottazzi.

He leaves behind his father and mother, Richard and Harriet Gaudet, his brother Alexander Barker Gaudet, his grandmother Estelle Barker, grandfather Bob Elkins, and Grandmother Clare Bottazzi. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. As one of his friends said he was a phenomenal person in his character and love of people. God, please keep our son until we meet again.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, December 10, 2020 in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, Louisiana 70435 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment to follow in the Barker-McManus Memorial Cemetery, 79407 Lee Road (LA-1129), Covington, LA 70435.
