Born February 19, 1931, in Conway, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Viola (Newbig) Krepps.
Phyllis retired as a bus driver from Rhodes Transportation Inc. with 28 years of service and was a member of New Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church in Economy Borough. She especially enjoyed spending time with her new friends at the Senior Center in Center Twp.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Wright, Sr., whom she married on November 28, 1950; two brothers, Vivian Krepps and Charles Krepps; a sister, Margaret Slingluff, and a daughter-in-law, Shirley Wright.
Surviving are a daughter, Bonna Lou (Darren) Oliver; four sons, Robert B. Wright, Jr., Donald Wright, Dale (Elaine) Wright, and Ray Wright; fourteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., CENTER TOWNSHIP, 3475 Brodhead Road, Monaca, PA 15061, where a service will be held Friday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Martin Galbraith, officiating.
Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
