Theodore Claude Woods, 94, of Lake Charles, passed away July 26, 2020 at a local nursing home.

Mr. Woods loved his beloved wife Mae and his daughter Natalie. Mr. Woods was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. He loved telling us about World War II, and when he was stationed in Hawaii. He also enjoyed telling us how happy he and all the men were when they found out the war was over. Mr. Woods enjoyed church and singing church songs. He read his bible daily and always had it in hand or close by. He loved playing bingo and being outdoors. He enjoyed talking with others and always had a smile. He told really good stories and greeted anyone that passed by him. He always wanted to be addressed as Mr. Woods and if you were one of the chosen few by him, he was known as papa and/or pops. Mr. Woods will be greatly missed by those that came to know him.
