He was born March 28, 1937 in Jenkins, MO the son of Charles and Martha {Taylor} Freeman. On June 14, 1958 he was united in marriage to Martha L. Warner, who preceded him in death on February 23, 2010. Also preceding him in death were his parents; two sons, Charles Kenneth Freeman and Jack Freeman; one daughter, Deborah Martinez; two granddaughters, Sarah and Shona Wyatt; eight brothers, James, Grady, Eugene, Estel, Eddie, Cleo, Dallas and Jewel and four sisters, Dorothy, Julie, Ruth and Ruby.
Surviving are three daughters, Rhonda Sartin of Exeter, MO, Tammie Williamson and her husband Carroll and Deanna Carver and her husband Chris all of Purdy, MO; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Donaldson and her husband David of Cassville, MO; sixteen grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren.
Kenny grew up in Jenkins, MO and received his education at Aurora, MO where he graduated from high school. For a few years he worked in California in the orchards. After returning to Missouri he worked at the shoe factory for twenty-six years and seven more years at Justin Boot Factory. During that time he also farmed, raising cattle, chickens, pigs and dogs, which he continued doing after his retirement. Some of his favorite pastimes were singing, watching St. Louis Cardinals, coon hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved his great-grandchildren and his dog, Toby.
He was a member of Blessing Heights Worship Center in Cassville, where services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 9, 2020 under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Brad Hudson, Pastor Carroll Williamson and Pastor David Donaldson will conduct the services. Burial will be at Leann Cemetery in Leann, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
