Obituary for Jerry Holt
Jerry Ray Holt, age 76, of Adams, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at St. Thomas West in Nashville.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11am in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Reverend Randy Riggs officiating. Burial followed in the Sango Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation was held at the funeral home on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 4-8pm and again on Saturday from 9am until the hour of service at 11am.
Mr. Holt was born August 31, 1944 in Adams to the late Ray and Margaret Shepard Holt. He worked as a delivery driver for Crabtree Furniture. He loved playing cornhole, making turkey calls, outdoor activities and his family.
In addition to his parents Mr. Holt is preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Dale Holt. Mr. Holt is survived by his wife of over 52 years, Linda Traylor Holt; sister, Pat Wood of Clarksville; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
