George Harold Hamilton Jr., 79, of Hixson, TN passed in a local facility on November 30th, 2020
He was preceded in death by his father, George Harold Hamilton Sr.; mother Juanita Cormier; the love of his life and wife of 49 years Lois Hamilton.
He is survived by his sister Linda (Tracy) Mathews; son Harold Hamilton; Daughter Cindy (Gill) Robinson; Grandchildren Samantha Webb and Hunter Hamilton. Great Grand Son Lake Cooper Webb and several nephews and nieces.
George was born September 10th, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia. He joined the Army at the age of 18. He had many friends here and overseas. He retired from Beasley Distributing as district sales manager after 30 years. He never met a stranger. He had friends all over the world. He was an avid UTC Mocs and Georgia Bulldogs fan. He loved to fish and also to work with the Special Olympics. His family and friends came first. We will miss his smiles, funny stories and his uplifting attitude. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Cindy. He was more than a father. He was her best friend and rock.
We would like to give a special thank you to his nurse George Culver and Hospice of Chattanooga.
