MARCH 11, 1931 – DECEMBER 5, 2020
Carmen Fernandez, age 89, passed away on December 5, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born in Nueva Paz in the providence of Havana, Cuba, but has been a Las Vegas resident since 1971.
Whenever, Carmen would leave the house she always made sure to look her best. In her spare time, she liked to play dominoes, sew, cook, spend time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and watch novelas.
Carmen was a wonderful mother and is survived by her children; Julian Calzadilla and Jorge Fernandez. Four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and friends. She will be dearly missed by all.
Services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 with Visitation at 11:00AM and Funeral at 2:00PM at Palm Downtown Mortuary, 1325 N. Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
Carmen will be laid to rest immediately following at Palm Downtown Cemetery.
Her family truly appreciates all of the love and support that has been given to them during this difficult time. Please keep the family and Carmen in your hearts and in your prayers.
