Margaret E. Crawford, age 83, of Altoona, died Monday, December 7, 2020 at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona, following a brief illness. She was born April 14, 1937 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Raymond N. Crawford, Sr., and E. Pauline (Kennedy) Crawford.

She is survived by three siblings: Raymond Crawford, Jr. of Hollidaysburg, Carol Smith of Duncansville, and George Crawford of Altoona, with whom she made her home with for 70 years. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Walters.

Margaret had worked for HL Green in Altoona. She was a member of St. Michael Parish in Hollidaysburg.

She enjoyed collecting cat figurines, porcelain dolls, and Elvis collectibles, reading novels, crocheting , embroidering, making afghans, and taking care of stray cats.

Friends will be received from 6-8pm on Thurs., Dec. 10, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Fri., Dec. 11 at St. Michael Parish, 301 Spruce St., Hollidaysburg, officiated by Father Alan Thomas. Interment will take place at Blair Memorial Park.
