Timothy "Tim" James Schroeder
April 3, 1967 - November 15, 2020

Timothy “Tim” James Schroeder passed away suddenly on November 15, 2020, at the age of 53 in McKinney, Texas. He was born April 3, 1967, to James Francis Schroeder and Carol Elaine Hall in San Jose, California. Tim grew up in San Jose, California where he attended schools and graduated from Pioneer High School in 1985. He married Susan Michele (Hanna) Schroeder on February 9, 1991 in San Jose, California.

Tim earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The University of Phoenix in 1997. In 2002, he accepted a job transfer that brought them to Texas. He previously worked for Experian, Cisco, and Intuit as an Operations Manager. Most recently, Tim worked for Incomm as a Business Analyst for 5 years.

Tim had a passion for music and classic cars. He enjoyed watching television and movies; Star Trek was an all-time favorite. What brought Tim the most joy was spending time with his family and friends. He was an incredible light to all who knew him - often referred to as the life of the party. He was one of those rare, charismatic personalities who drew people to him. He never met a stranger and was an amazing example of a servant leader. Quick to laugh and with a great sense of humor, he put others at ease and sustained relationships for decades. Among the things for which he will most be remembered are his profound faith in his lord, Jesus Christ, which he demonstrated in word and deed; and his infinitely giving heart. His wife and daughters were his treasures and he gave them every love, guidance and friendship any husband and father can give, with great joy. To his parents, stepparents, brother, in-laws, nieces and nephews, all of whom have survived him, he gave his best in each individual relationship. To his many friends and colleagues, he gave unending laughter, support and integrity. To his church, he gave his service and to his Lord, he gave his soul. And to complete strangers, Tim, as an organ donor, has given the gift of life - saved life, extended life, or significantly improved life.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Susan Michele Schroeder of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Alyssa Schroeder of Plano, Texas, Ashleigh Schroeder of McKinney, Texas and Adrianna Schroeder of McKinney, Texas; parents, Carol McOsker and husband, Brian of Portsmouth, Rhode Island and Jim Schroeder and partner, Kathryn Lamont of San Jose, California; brothers, Jeff Schroeder and wife, Robyn of Santa Clara, California and Eric Schroeder of Santa Clara, California; and a host of other loving family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Cottonwood Creek Church, 1015 Sam Rayburn Tollway, Allen, Texas 75013 as well as placing of the ashes at 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, TX 75013.
