Regina E. Barnes, 72, of 1233 S. Fourth St., died at 8:30 a.m. Friday Nov. 8, 1991, in Piney Mountain Home, Fayetteville, where she has resided since June. She had been in ill health for 1 1/2 years.
Born May 20, 1919, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Francis A. and Blanche R. Sanders Cox.
She attended the Antrim Faith Baptist Church. She had been employed at the former Tracey Fashions for 17 years. Mrs. Barnes was an active volunteer for the American Heart association and Easter Seal Society of Franklin County.
Her husband Theodore E. "Teetle" Barnes, died Nov. 17, 1987.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan (Mrs. Ronald E.) Kissel and Cheryl (Mrs. Ralph) Alleman, a son, Theodore E. Jr. of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one great great grandchild; four sisters, Helen (Mrs. E. Richard) Weaver, Dolores M. (Mrs. Robert N.) Hawk, Miriam C. (Mrs. Glenn) Sollenberger of Naushua, N.H., and Sandra D. (Mrs. Frank) Burkhart of Robesonia; and three brothers, Francis J. Cox, Fayetteville; Robert V. Cox, and Jaye E. Cox of Providence, R.I.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home Inc. The Revs. Dan McClintock and Paul Cunningham will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
